Ok, so I traded my built 335i for an 03 EVO 8 recently. Have to say that this car is super fun to drive. I've had a couple people look at the car and they said all of the parts on it are top dollar and it looks like i got a very solid car. It is in immaculate shape. Mods are below. I've also went a little crazy buying parts the last week too LOL. I still can't decide on meth or e85. We have e85 in clarksville but I like to take trips and I heard it's difficult with certain injectors to run both e85 and 93 on the same injectos especially when I'll be looking at 600HP on e85 (or meth). I could use some advice on the meth vs e85. I actually ran e85 and meth on my 335i and loved both. No need to run both on an evo though.

Would definitely get rid of the precision injectors. They're "old skool" technology nowadays.
The FIC's will treat you well

I don't know much about meth but I run e85 currently and I love it. I'm just not sure how many stations there are around the Chattanooga area. On a full tank I can maybe get 300 miles

What size/type injectors are you running? How much HP? Do you ever run pump gas out of those injectors? If so, any idling issues?

I'm running wally 255 with RC1200's which are overkill. I'm making just over 400hp and tq and I'm only using like 65% of the injectors. I will prolly end up running FIC 1050's when I get the money.
As for idling the best way to make sure you have the best of both worlds with e85 and pump gas is to have the tuner use a tephra mod when tuning your car. So that you can have dual maps, one for each fuel. I use a tephra mod but I'm only tuned for e85

yeah, currently the car is capable of two maps as far as I know. I'll get tuned for e85 and pump. I've been reading though that certain injectors like FIC 1680 Z are hard to tune on pump gas, they're mainly for e85? IDK but for now, I'm still not sure if I'm going to run meth or e85. I'm leaning toward meth. I have a bid on an Aquamist HF-6 which is the best meth kit money can buy. If I win it I'll def run meth and just keep the FIC 1250's I've already bought and sell my 400LHP wally to get a new 255. I'm not sure how old the current one is but no reason to risk failure. If I don't win that auction I think I'll buy MAP2000cc injectors and run e85 so if I put the HTA86r on I can fuel it properly.

I'd def have it dyno tuned vs just street tuning.

Funny cause I got the car from a guy that works there.
